Tainted MLA to control UP jails, Kiran Bedi slams Akhilesh
In micro-blogging site Twitter, Bedi tweeted that "Prisons Min in UP has huge crime record. He would not be eligible even for a Peon's job! We vote/accept them. To (mis)rule us! Unite for R2R."
"Is a minister a Govt servant? Of course yes! Then why two sets of rules? Character verification for a lay citizen and none for a minister?" she said.
"If 'Jails Minister' in UP in view of his sound crime record is asked to work ideally, from inside jail he could be called 'Jailed Minister'!" Bedi posted.
"Minister with crime records when oversees those convicted/accused of crimes, meets (sic) professional/managment tenets taught!"
"Prisoners need role models. Prison minister with crime record can be a role model for political education inside the prison! New experiment!" Bedi added.
Meanwhile, it has been found that Raja Bhaiya is an accused in eight criminal cases.
