Chiranjeevi finally happy with Congress

Hyderabad, Mar 19: Actor turned politician K Chiranjeevi was nominated to the Rajya Sabha seat by the Congress High Command on Sunday.

Chiranjeevi earlier, in a bid to save it from tumbling down had merged his party-Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress.

Apart from Chiranjeevi, the names of Renuka Choudhary-AICC official spokesperson and Palwai Goverdhan Reddy, former state minister was also finalised by the Congress for the Rajya Sabha seats.

BK Hariprasad, AICC general secretary, Karnataka has also been nominated for the fourth seat from Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, reports reveal that Chiranjeevi's party men are apparently upset with him and Congress. It has been reported that some of them are even considering swapping to other parties.
