UPA in trouble, DMK threatens to quit alliance

"I cannot take that decision alone. The party's executive committee would decide on that," he said.
He further said the if the government failed to act over the issue, it would be a 'betrayal of Tamils'.
"India should vote in favour of the resolution brought by the US against Sri Lanka, failing which the DMK would consider it as betrayal of Tamils," said Karunanidhi.
"DMK Members of Parliament, Siva and Kanimozhi, responded to that by citing India's stand on the Bangladesh issue. The central government has not answered to that," said Karunanidhi after reacting over external affairs minister, SM Krishna's statement in parliament.
