Slain MP IPS officer's brother demands body; sedated

Madhya Pradesh, Mar 13: Days after the death of IPS officer, Narendra Kumar, the cousin of the officer revealed that he was sedated by a doctor after he raised suspicion on the dubious behaviour of the police asking to see his brother's body.

According to the Raj Kumar, Narendra Kumar left the house at 1 pm the day the gruesome incidence took place adding that the officer said that he would be back home by lunch. After he failed to return, his uncle called up informing about the tragedy that took place.

Raj further said that the hospital authorities did not show him the body after he asked them to show him his dead body. When he protested, he was sedated forcibly by a doctor. After coming back to his senses at around 6 pm, the officers' body was already taken for a post-mortem.

According to the family, the police did not reveal on what happened to the officer and kept them in dark stressing that he only suffered minor injuries.
