Trouble for UPA, Subramanian Swamy's JP, NDA to join hands

Subramanian Swamy
New Delhi, Mar 12: Subramanian Swamy's Janata Party is all set to join hands with NDA adding to Congress' woes, which is still recovering from the jitters it received after its poor performance in the Assembly elections.

The decision to include Janata Party under their wings was taken at a meeting of NDA floor leaders at the residence of BJP leader, LK Advani ahead of the budget session.

"Swamy was keen to join the alliance and had been meeting the NDA leaders," said SS Ahluwalia, senior BJP leader.

Apart from Janata Party, five other allies of NDA include Shiv Sena, Shiromani Akali Dal, BJP, JD (U) and Republican Party of India (A).
