'Third Front' issue likely to hit Congress government

The main opposition party of Congress government, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is also set to discuss the third front issue with its NDA allies. NDA ally JDU, TMC, AIADMK and BJD have come on the same platform in opposing policies of the central government like formation of NCTC, more powers to the centre in RPF among other issues.
Moreover, Bihar Chief Minister Nitesh Kumar also said that Congress should respect the federal structure of the country and also respect regional parties.
Recently, UPA-ally TMC also objected to the creation of National Counter Terror Centre (NCTC), saying body will impinge up on the rights of the states.
Earlier, the setting up of the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) had postponed by Home Ministry as all the non-congress states chief ministers had objected the government move to set up the anti-terror intelligence body.
