Prime Minister's Office debuts on YouTube

New Delhi, Mar 11: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh office on Sunday, Mar 11 made its debut on popular video-sharing site, YouTube.

Sources from PMO saod that it will now be communicating with the people more through videos.

"PMOIndia is now also on YouTube at pmofficeindia. We will be communicating more with you through videos," PMO sources said.

After joing the YouTube, the first video uploaded on Mar 10 was was about Prime Minister’s speech at a conference related to UPA’s flagship programme Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA).

Again second video was uploaded on Sunday, Mar 11 was about Dr. Singh’s visit to Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial Rajghat on his birthday on Oct 2 last year.

Earlier, on Jan, PMO had made its debut on popular microblogging site Twitter to make people know that the government is functioning for their benefit.

The new media foray by the PMO comes in the wake of TV journalist Pankaj Pachauri taking over as Communications Adviser to the Prime Minister.
