Mumbai: Arrest warrant issued against TV and Film actor

Mumbai, Mar 10: A Mumbai metropolitan magistrate court has issued an arrest warrant against film and reality television actor

after she failed to appear for a hearing in a cheque-bouncing case, said reports.

Reports further claim that, Soapbox, a public relations firm, had filed a complaint against Rohatgi after a cheque of Rs 2.23 lakh, issued by her towards their commission, was dishonoured and she failed to pay the amount thereafter.

Rohatgi, will soon be arrested by police as court directed police to arrest and produce her in the court.

Meanwhile, the warrant is bailable, so if the actor produces a surety and a bail amount of Rs 5,000 at the next hearing in the court on Mar 16, she will be released.
