Kingfisher not to take part in India aviation expo
Lt. Col. Vivek Kodikal, regional director (trade fairs), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has made the announcement on behalf of Kingfisher saying the India's second largest private carrier has decided to stay away from the five-day event due to the ongoing crisis in the airline.
The beleaguered Kingfisher, which was one of the main sponsors of India Aviation in the previous two editions. In this year's expo as many as 22 aircraft will be on static display, with 21 airline companies from across the globe will be participating.
The event will be inaugurated by Union Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh in the presence of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
