Uttar Pradesh: Samajwadi workers clash with villagers

On Wednesday night, the party workers clashed with the villagers, resulting in torching the houses in Reosa area of Sitapur district.
Last night, the conflict erupted over an old issue, involving a local MLA in Bambia village. While the case against 12 people have been registered, as claimed by Pramod Shukla, Station Officer of Reosa.
According to the reports, the houses set on fire were the supporters of an independent candidate.
After winning the elections, the Samajwadi party state president Akhilesh Yadav had promised that goondaraj won’t return in Uttar Pradesh but it seems that goondaraj has already started.
