Blow for Jet Air, pilots protest for salary delay

Jet Airways
New Delhi, Mar 7: Jet Airways pilots' protest have come as huge blow for the airways. The pilots have decided to protest against the salary delay by 15 days every month.

According to the reports, the staff's salaries have been getting delayed since past few months.

Currently, Jet Airways had asked the government for additional working capital and enhanced credit period with oil Public Sector Units (PSUs).

Meanwhile, the airline is also trying to expand its operations in foreign countries.

In 2009, a large number of pilots had protested against the sacking of two of their staff. The Jet airlines had to cancel around 130 flights from the major cities. So, this is not the first time that the airline's pilots have gone on protest.
