UP Polls 2012: Sonia Gandhi to seek solace in Mulayam's SP?
Punia claimed that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi would take the decision regarding this, the party is flexible, he added.
"This is not a decision that I can take. Sonia Gandhi will decide that. We should be flexible," said the Congress MP.
Referring to the Muslim quota issue, Punia said, "Quota for Muslims was not a wrong decision. It was a good decision but taken too late. People's mandate is in favour of the Samajwadi Party."
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Pary declared that it does not need any support to form the government in the state.
"SP will form government in UP with clear majority. I don't think we will need any support," said Shivpal Yadav, Senior leader.
