Cycle likely to crush elephant in Uttar Pradesh

Mulayam Singh Yadav
Lucknow, Mar 6: The Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh is quite confident of brushing aside the ruling party and other Opposition parties for setting up a new regime in India's largest state.

SP national president Mulayam Singh Yadav appeared totally cool and confident, though he refrained from making any comments on the victory that his party is anticipating.

Meanwhile, the latest trends shows SP is leading ahead of all its rivals. The apparently favorable exit polls have buoyed the morale of the SP and its leaders.

Mulayam had it better expressing his confidence by choosing to be silent until he gets a clear number that could install him as next Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. When asked about his opinion ahead of counting of ballots, he said, "whatever I have to say, I would say on March 6." That's a good hint to measure the level of confidence he has over the favorable results.
