Bangalore: Boy commits suicide by jumping before metro train

Bangalore, Mar 6: A 17-year-old college student allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train at the MG Road Metro Station on Mar 5 evening, said reports.

According to the reports, Vishnu Sharan was a first year PU student at the St. Joseph PU Composite college. Meanwhile, the reason for Vishnu taking the extreme step was not known and no suicide note was found.

The CCTV footage of the metro station revealed that the boy was checking his mobile phone a number of times before jumping on the tracks.

This was the first suicide on Namma Metro after metro train was introduced in last Oct in Bangalore.
