UP Polls: Akhilesh prefers not being compared to Rahul

Lucknow, Mar 5: A day after the exit polls predicted the victory of Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav said that he never compared himself with Congress' dynamic leader, Rahul Gandhi.

He further said that the people of the state wanted to see a change, which they think the SP would bring.

"Samajwadi Party will be strict on law and order. We will not tolerate people with criminal background," he said.

The leader also said that the SP was accused of bringing goonda raj in the state and party was in no mood to repeat past mistakes this time.

"We changed our image in the last five years," he said.
