CBI gears up for YS Jaganmohan Reddy's arrest

Hyderabad, Mar 5: The CBI is all geared up to arrest Kaddapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy and also conducted a recce for his arrest at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Saturday, said sources.

According to reports, top officials in Jagan's camp suspected foul after he was back from Visakhapatnam after touring Pallam, Katrenikona mandal, East Godavari district on his Odarpu yatra.

There was a rumour that either the CBI or the Enforcement Directorate teams (ED) were present at the airport during his arrival but walked back in the last minute.

Sources said that the CBI probe was being closely monitored by top officials in New Delhi. The same was, however, not confirmed by the police.

The probe into illegal assets of Jaganmohan’s illegal assets case is almost over after the agency took the statements of several investors and IAS officials in Jagan's companies.

Meanwhile, a warning was issued to the CBI by the YSR Congress on Sunday that the arrest of Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the illegal assets case will raise crores of hands in protest across Andhra Pradesh.
