4 lawyers held for attack on Bangalore journalists

Announcing the arrests on Saturday, police commissioner BG Jyothi Prakash Mirji said the total loss has been estimated at Rs 1 crore. "Four four-wheelers were damaged and four others set on fire. Seventeen two-wheelers were burnt and 15 damaged," he said.
Police filed 31 cases and identified 23 advocates who unleashed the violence while mining baron G Janardhana Reddy was being produced in Court Hall number 47.
The advocates turned unruly and vent their ire on mediapersons at around 10.45 am. "Fourteen cases have been registered with Ulsoorgate police, of which eight are from members of the public, five from police and one from an injured journalist," Mirji said.
