Sonia Gandhi
Washington, Mar 3: Congress President, Sonia Gandhi landed in a big trouble in US as Sikh community in the country - Sikh for Justice (SFJ) started protesting against the Congress president demanding her exclusion from the country.

SFJ representative sent a letter to Hillary Clinton, the Secretary of State, claiming, "Sonia Gandhi's entry and presence in the US is in violation of section 212(a)(3)(E)(ii) & (iii) of the Immigration and Nationality Act and section 604 of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998."

The SFJ, in its letter to Mrs Clinton, reiterated that according to above mentioned law prevails in the US, any individual who, outside of the US, has ordered, incited, assisted or in any way participated in the commission of any act of torture or extra judicial killing, is prohibited from entering into US.

The community accused Mrs Gandhi of shielding many Congress party leaders who allegedly were active players in executing the atrocities of Nov 1984. The Sikh community also accused the Congress Party of conducting the genocide to take avenge on the Sikhs following the killing of the then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards.

Here it can be recalled that Mrs Gandhi went to US for medical check-up and her party informed that she soon will be back in India. However, citing the current situation in the country, many started speculating - will Barack Obama government consider the proposal of the SFJ and will they exclude Mrs Gandhi from the country?
