Bangalore: Woman stabbed in city bar

Bangalore, Mar 3: A 20-year-old woman was seriously injured when she was allegedly stabbed in her neck by a man on Mar 2 night in F Bar and Kitchen on Cunningham Road.

Witnesses said that the incident occurred when a group of four men at the next table allegedly misbehaved with the victim and with her friends. When the girls asked them to keep off, the men got into a verbal argument and started abusing the women.

Soon, the argument turned scuffle with one of the accused hurling a beer bottle at the victim. The bottle broke and a shard pierced the woman's neck.

The woman was taken to a private hospital on Cunningham Road where the doctors put 19 stitches on her neck.

Meanwhile, police have taken the CCTV footage of that night for investigation. Moreover, the search is on for the accused.
