Bangalore: Mercury to soar; no showers ahead

Bangalore, Mar 3: Temperatures continue to rise in Karnataka with Bangalore recording the hottest day of the summer season with 36 degree celsius so far on Mar 2.

Sources from met department said that temperatures will soar to 36 to 38 degrees Celsius by next week.

Meanwhile, met department has blamed a less active monsoon for increasing temperature as Bangalore has not received showers since last Oct, except the cyclonic showers.

The meteorology department also made it clear that clouds will clear to a sunny in coming days and during which temperatures will rise till third week of March.
