West Bengal Guv slams Mamata's nephew Akash's dadagiri

Kolkata, March 1: Criticising West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew Akash Banerjee's act, Governor MK Narayanan on Thursday, March 1 said that Akash should not have manhandled the traffic policeman after violating the traffic rules.

Talking to journalists, Narayanan said, "Such incidents of assault on policemen on duty are not new. I think this is a problem for the police. But Akash should not have hit a policeman in uniform." There is no point of sensationalising the incident, he added.
