Kerala: Merchant ship collides with boat, 2 fishermen dead

Kollam, Mar 1: Two fishermen died and four were missing following a massive collision between a merchant ship and a boat of a group of fishermen. The accident occurred at at the high seas of the Neendakara coast.

Neendakara coast is 9 km north of Kollam, Kerala on Thursday, Mar 1. However, details of the merchant ship are yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, PRO of Indian Navy said the incident occurred 50 nautical miles away from the Kollam coast.

Rescue operation has already been started.
