Karnataka
Bangalore, March 1: The legislature committee formed to investigate over the porngate scandal on Wednesday, Feb 29 grilled the representatives of the Kannada TV channels for telecasting the porn clips watched by the tainted ministers in the Karnataka Assembly.

The TV channel representatives faced a series of questions from the panel members. The representatives were asked whether it was right to telecast the unparliamentary visuals.

While two Kannada TV channels were summoned by the committee, only one attended the session.

On the other hand, the committee members including Srishailappa Bidadur as head and SR Vishwanath, Suresh Gowda and Nehru Olekar as members watched the porn clip aired by TV channels.

Talking to the journalists, Bidadur said, "The committee has decided to issue notices to the three members. Meanwhile, he refused to reveal the details of the proceedings. "We don't have the mandate to disclose the contents," he added.
