2G case: Kanimozhi seeks exemption from appearing in court

Meanwhile, Kanimozhi's counsel has submitted an application before special CBI judge O.P. Saini, who issued notice to the investigation agency seeking reply by Mar 14.
DMK supremo M Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi said that because of daily appearance before the court, she was unable to fulfill personal and professional obligations as a mother and a political leader.
Kani has been accused allowing Kalaignar TV in Chennai to serve as the resting place for Rs 214-crore bribe which was sent former Telecom Minister A Raja by Swan Telecom.
CBI arrested her on May 20 last year. Later on Nov 28 last year, Delhi High court granted bail to her on the grounds that she was a woman and a mother to a small kid.
