Shehla Masood murder case cracked, Bhopal architect arrested

Bhopal, Feb 28: After a long battle, Bhopal police finally cracked the controversial Shehala Masood murder case. A Bhopal-based woman architect, who has been identified as Zahida Pervez, has been arrested on Tuesday, Feb 28.

Bhopal police informed that the architect had personal enmity with Shehla Masood, and so she gave money to a contract killer to eliminate her (Masood).

Shehla, an RTI activist was a strong supporter of Anna Hazare and was an active member of India Against Corruption (IAC). Sheha was shot dead shot dead in Bhopal on Aug 16, 2011.

"I thank God. I have come to know through media reports. No one has officially told me about the arrest," said Shehla's father after citing the latest development in the case.
