Mullaperiyar: Kerala, Tamil Nadu asked to work with Panel

"We want both the states to extend cooperation to the committee," observed the five-judge Constitution Bench after the panel complained that the two neighbouring states were not cooperating over the safety and other aspects of the dam.
While presenting the complaint in front of the SC, the panel also asked for additional time for the submission of its report over the safety and other aspects of the dam and have been granted time till Apr 30.
Meanwhile, the matter would be further heard on May 4.
