Sree Padmanabhaswamy's vault C to be opened today

Trivandrum, Feb 27: The vault C of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple will be opened on Monday by the Supreme court appointed expert committee.

"Yes, the Supreme Court has given us the clearance to open the vaults. The advocate-commissioners have, however, made it clear that they would fully cooperate with us in this matter," said coordinator of the expert committee MV Nair.

"Vault C has to be opened on Monday if the inventorying is to continue apace," said Nair.

Reports reveal that each day the vaults would be opened, it would be unsealed and then re-sealed. The expert committee is expected to discuss and finalise the exact procedure for this. The Reserve Bank of India representative, who is to attend the meeting is also expected to give his inputs on the same.

As per the Supreme Court order of Feb 23, the expert committee is fully entitled to open chamber C and D.
