'Rahul Gandhi can become PM even at midnight if he desires'

Mathura, Feb 26: After his comments on the President's rule in Uttar Pradesh, Union minister Sriprakash Jaiswal on Saturday attacking AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi said that he could become PM "even at midnight if he so desires".

"Rahul Gandhi can become Prime Minister at 12 tonight, he can the administer the oath of office and no one can stop that. But neither does he want to become the Prime Minister nor the chief minister," he said addressing a public rally at Mathura.

Jaiswal, who expressed his desire to become the chief minister if wanted by the high command, also assured the people of "the best ministry Mathura ever had" if made sure that the party candidate won.

Earlier targetting Rahul Gandhi, Jaiswal had said that Rahul would be the remote control to anyone who became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
