Swipe out of Osama bin Laden's house enters final phase

On May 2, 2011, Osama Bin Laden was killed by the US Special Forces in a night-time raid.
Some policemen along with the soldiers arrived in that area and moved heavy machinery near the building for the demolition, as claimed by the senior government officials and residents in Bilala Town in Abbottabad.
After the US commandos had allegedly killed Bin Laden, the soldiers and policemen were deployed in that area as the authorities wanted to stop the local people to go to that compound.
"After arriving in the area, the soldiers and the policemen cordoned off the entire town from all sides and did not allow the local residents to enter or leave Bilal Town," said Momin Khan, a resident.
"We believed the army would use explosives to blow up the building but it wasn’t the case," he said.
