UP Polls: Maya better than Mulayam Singh, says Amar Singh

Uttar Pradesh, Feb 22: Amar Singh, once close aide of Samajwadi party chief, Mulayam Singh Yadav chose Mayawati over Mulayam Singh if one out of the two had to be chosen.

Addressing a rally in Saharanpur he lashed out at both Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav saying that, while Mayawati was "looting the state", Mulayam Singh's reign brought "thriving gundaraj".

He however, advocated that if two were to be choosen between the two, Mayawati was a better option.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Mayawati at an election rally in Agra on Tuesday said "I hold the key to power".

Further asking Agra Dalits for votes, she said that they bring her to power, if they wanted a Dalit to remain in power.
