Mumbai: FIR against 'Corrupt' Congress President

Mumbai, Feb 22: Kripashankar Singh, Sonia Gandhi's party man and Mumbai Congress President, has landed in a major trouble on Wednesday, Feb 22 over a corruption case.

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday asked Mumbai police commissioner to file an FIR against Mr Singh over a corruption case. The court also asked the police to attach immovable properties of Mr Singh and his family. The court further ordered the police to obtain sanction from the government for his prosecution.

The court responded on a petition filed by a social worker against the Congress president. Mumbai cops have also been asked to register a compliance report by Apr 19, 2012.
