Airport: NO checking for Priyanka's hubby Robert Vadra !

New Delhi, Feb 21: It can be termed as a special government offer or gift for the son-in-law of Gandhi family as Robert Vadra enjoys air travel from all Indian airports without any security checking which is mandatory for all passengers before crossing the barricades set up to provide full security to air travellers.

In a reply to a Right to Information (RTI) letter, Union Home Ministry informed that the the ministry held special meetings with concerned security agencies and decided to allow Mr Vadra to board any flight from Indian airports without security checking. However, the home ministry denied to provide all details citing the 21/1 clause of RTI. [Read: Not in UP but Priyanka Gandhi to contest in K'taka by-polls]

Here it can be mentioned that Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law and Rahul Gandhi's brother-in-law - Vadra is not enjoying the special offers solely. Dalai Lama, the Tibetan leader also travel in flights without security checking at Indian airports. However, it also can be mentioned that people in 33 special categories including spouses of the Indian president, foreign ambassadors, winners of Bharat Ratna also can enjoy the special facility bestowed by the Indian Union Home Ministry.
