Anna Hazare to get Rs 25 Lakh award for development work

Mumbai, Feb 20: Social activist Anna Hazare will receive an award of Rs 25 lakh from a Delhi-based organisation for his contribution to rural development.

Sources said the cash awrad will be given by Sitaram Jindal Foundation on Feb 23 at a function in new Delhi.

Moreover, anti-corruotion crusader will also attend a Team Anna core committee meeting in Delhi on February 22.

The veteran Gandhian returned to his native Ralegan Siddhi village on Feb 18 with core committee member Arvind Kejriwal after Undergoing ayurvedic treatment at a hospital in Bangalore for persistent cough, backache and swelling on hands and feet.
