Andhra Pradesh Finance Min presents Rs 1.45 lakh cr budget

Hyderabad, Feb 17: Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy on Friday, Feb 17 presented a tax-free budget of Rs 1.45 lakh crore for the financial year 2012-13.

State Finance Minister said that the overall expenditure during 2012-13 would be Rs.145,854 lakh crore, comprising Rs.91,824 crore under non-plan and Rs.54,030 crore under plan heads.

Moreover, he made it clear that government will continue the welfare schemes like "Arogyasri", free electricity to farmers and Rs 1 a-kg rice to people below the poverty line in the year 2012-13.
