Now Steel Minister sings Salman Khurshid's minority tune

New Delhi, Feb 16: Days after Law Minister Salman Khurshid was lambasted for making promise over the Muslim quota, Steel Minister, Beni Prasad Verma also hogged the limelight when he danced to the same tune.

"Muslims will be given more facilities, Muslims will be given reservation," he had said in a public rally in Farrukhabad.

Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh was also present at the rally when Verma made the promise.

The Election Commission on Wednesday, Feb 15 had closed the Salman Khurshid Muslim quota chapter after he accepted his mistake in making promises over government jobs for minorities in Uttar Pradesh.

The matter was closed after two Election Commissioners, VS Sampath and HS Brahma and the Commission led by Chief Election Commissioner SY Quraishi reviewed the matter after Khurshid had written a "regret letter".
