Saif's sister Soha seeks HC help to get back Rs 90 lac

Gujarat, Feb 16: Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan has sought help from the Gujarat High Court for the recovery of Rs 9 lakh dues from Rosebys Interior Private Limited company which owes her a total of Rs 90 lakh.

The actress had signed a modelling contract with the company.

The bed sheets company Rosebys Interior Private Limited had signed the actress for two contracts in the year 2008 and 2009 till 2011. She was not paid Rs 65 lakh from the second contract apart from the pending Rs 10 lakh from the earlier contract.

"We have filed a petition before the high court as the company has to pay us Rs 90 lakh including interest," said Bhadrish Raju, counsel for Soha.

"We have requested the court to order the winding up procedure of the company and make payment of dues," he said.

"The company failed to make the payment as it was going through financial crunch. They did not dispute our claim for dues but they have been unable to fulfil the contract by giving the due amount," Raju added.

A notice has been issued to the company and the case is expected to come up for hearing by next month.
