Mulayam Singh
Uttar Pradesh, Feb 15: Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday, Feb 15 indicated that his party may support Congress in the state after the UP assembly elections in a bid to stop BJP from coming into power to prevent "communal" forces.

"There is a wave in favour of SP, which is going to form the next government in the state...If I see BJP coming to power, our party can support Congress in the state to prevent communal forces," he said.

He further asked his party workers to make sure that voters went ahead to the booth to cast their votes. He also asked them to spread around ideologies of the party and inform people on what SP could do for them if they were voted to power.

"My government will ensure that mafia and goondas go behind the bars," he said.
