Del Israeli blast: Police gives clean chit to main culprit?

New Delhi, Feb 15: Delhi police on Wednesday, Feb 15 claimed that they have found a major clue during the investigation in the bomb blast on a car of Israeli embassy. The cops identified an abandoned red bike in the national capital and have been trying to verify whether the bike was used for the blast.

However, the cops surprised all when they let a person go after a short interrogation. Citing CCTV footage, Delhi police arrested the boy who was on a bike just behind the Israeli embassy car on Monday, Feb 13 when the explosion occurred.

Police said that they were not sure whether the boy attached the explosive on the rear of the Innova car as the CCTV footage was not clear. The detained person was a delivery boy, police informed. Another five persons owning red coloured motorcycles were also detained on the same day but were let off.

CCTV footage have not provide much help even as investigators on Tuesday recovered magnetic pieces from the device used for exploding the sticky bomb.
