Valentine's Day cards burnt;NO celebration,says Sri Ram Sene

The activists of the group showed their protest in front of the Press Club in Jammu on Saturday, Feb 12. The protesters also burnt Valentines Day special cards which have become one of the most demanding items ahead of Valentine's Day.
Rajiv Mahajan, president of the Sri Ram Sene active in the valley, claimed that the group was not against "Love", but they strongly condemn the display of "vulgarity" which is shown on Valentine's Day. [Read: Shiv Sena & others not to disturb couples on Valentine's Day]
The protesting group raised slogans against the celebration of the occasion in front of the Press Club on Saturday.
The same group in 2009 had gone on a rampage in Mangalore targeting pubs and youths who were into public display of affection (PDA) on Valentine's Day.
