Mysterious death: 48-yr-old Pop Star Whitney Houston dies

Washington, Feb 12: 48-year-old Whitney Houston - the popular pop star who created a special niche for herself in the world of music, died in a mysterious way. Reason behind her death is still unknown. The shocking news, which shattered her followers and admirers, came on the night of Grammy Awards on Saturday, Feb 11.

Houston rocked the world with her lavish works for music industry but later she started making headlines with consuming drugs, erratic behavior and her marriage to singer Bobby Brown.

Houston tried her luck not only in music industry but she starred in hit movies such as The Bodyguards and Waiting To Exhale. However, Houston in the later part of her career faced tremendous criticism over her addiction towards drugs and all bad habits.

Kristen Foster, the publicist, meanwhile on Sunday, Feb 12 informed that reason behind Houston's death and the location have not been disclosed yet.
