K'taka govt in fix; Upa-Lokayukta refuses to quit

On Saturday, Chandrashekaraiah said that “Why should I resign? There is no need to do so because my appointment as Upa Lokayukta is as per the Constitutional norms and procedure,”
As High Court Chief Justice Vikramjit Sen have a written letter to the Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda, so Justice Chandrashekaraiah was responding to the queries about that letter.
Sen showed his displeasure, as he was not consulted before the appointment of the Upa Lokayukta, so he urged to recall the Upa Lokayukta.
"The state government has followed all due procedures of consulting the Speaker of the Assembly, Chairman of the Council and Leader of the Opposition. Recommendation of my name has been approved by the Governor. I will not resign from the post as it is not required," said the Upa Lokayukta.
