Baba Ramdev in tension; slams Rahul for not getting RS berth

Dehradun, Feb 12: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has been accused by Congress MLA Kishore Upadhyay for targeting the Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi after Congress didn't entertain his "request" for a Rajya Sabha berth.

Two years back, Baba Ramdev had requested Rahul for a berth, Upadhyay told the media people.

But Baba Ramdev's request didn't materialise, so he began hurling accusations at the party and Rahul Gandhi.

It seems that Swami Ramdev has been scared of Congress as if the party win the Uttarkhand seat, it would investigate into the land grabbing and violation of labour laws in Ramdev's industrial units.

Meanwhile, Upadhyay pointed out at the ‘sanjivani buti' that Baba Ramdev's trust members asserted that they had found on the hill.
