Porngate: Minister accused of sending MMS cries foul
"I fail to understand why Savadi and Patil mentioned my name. Anyhow, they are my good friends. If some MMS has come to my cellphone, how can I be blamed?" he said.
He further said that the MMS came on his cellphone on Feb 7, the day the two minister were caught watching the sleazy video.
"This only shows that I had not watched it. Anybody could have sent the message. I wasn’t aware till it became an issue. Anyhow, it was an achanak incident," he said.
"They are not bothered because they know what sort of person I am. I have done nothing wrong. My constituency people also know it," he said further talking about his family.
When asked if he saw his chances of getting a BJP ticket to contest in the next Assembly polls, he said, "I am not sure of contesting again. It all depends on what the party decides."
He also said that he was ready to quit as MLA if he was found guilty.
