Beijing, Feb 9: SM Krishna, External Affairs Minister expressed India's concern over the presence of Chinese troops in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Krishna raised the point in his talks with the leaders on Wednesday, Feb 9.

"On the issue of Chinese presence of POK, Pakistan is in illegal occupation of certain areas of Jammu and Kashmir," said Krishna after talking with the Chinese leaders while addressing the media.

"This has been brought to the attention of the Chinese leadership repeatedly and there it stands," he said.

Earlier, Indian Army Chief Gen V K Singh had said in New Delhi that around 4,000 Chinese including the troops of the People's Liberation Army of China are in PoK.

The statement comes as India is concerned over the engagement and presence of Chinese troops in PoK, which India considers a part of its own land.
