Accident: Metro train derails, crashes into building

Santiago, Feb 9: People in Chilean capital Santiago woke up to a shocking news on Wednesday, Feb 8 that a Metro rail derailed and crashed into a building in the capital.

The subway train was being tested after some repair in a workshop. Meanwhile, Alvaro Caballeros said, "We absolutely regret this incident which happened this morning at our repair workshop in Lo Ovalle (an area in Santiago) and the damage we caused at this private condominium."

Fortunately, only few were injured, though it was a major accident and reports on deceased have not come yet.
