UP Polls: Priyanka in action; to be back in Amethi

Amethi, Feb 8: Congress Secretary Rahul Gandhi's sister Priyanka Gandhi has emerged as the new star of the party for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. She will be back in Amethi on Thursday to campaign in Rahul's Parliamentary constituency.

Priyanka will address about 20 meetings on Thursday starting from Rasulpur area in Salon constituency for the Uttar Pradesh Polls, reported Jagdish Piyush, Congress media in-charge.

She had campaigned from Feb 3-6.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi is contesting from the constituency of Rae Bareli, to where Priyanka will later shift her focus.
