Karnataka: Speaker Bopaiah bars 3 Porngate ministers

A six-member committee has been formed to investigate on the matter and they will submit a report by March 12.
As soon the proceedings began in Karnataka assembly, there was a ruckus in the assembly as the leaders and MLAs of the opposition parties shouted 'Shame! Shame!.
A meeting was held by Karnataka Chief Minister DV Sadananada Gowda and Karnataka Law Minister Suresh Kumar with the Speaker KG Bopaiah to discuss on the issue.
During the assembly session on Tuesday, the three ministers were caught in camera watching sleazy movie in mobile phones. They gave their resignation on Wednesday, Feb 8.
Meanwhile, the opposition demanded their dismissal but Sadananda Gowda defended his ministers, citing that the government won't take any action against them without having proper probe.
"It is for the Speaker to take action against ministers if they were found guilty of watching porno clippings in the assembly," said Gowda.
