UP Polls: Rahul Gandhi turns a hero to 8-year-old

Uttar Pradesh, Feb 5: AICC General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi who is currently campaiging for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections turned a hero overnight for a 8-year-old boy after he obliged to his wish to sit in a chopper.

During a rally in Siddhartnagar on Saturday, Jan 4, the boy was seen shouting to Rahul Gandhi to meet him in person.

Later when the Gandhi asked the boy to come over and asked him what he wished for, the boy said that he wanted to sit in a chopper. Rahul immediately took the boy to his chopper that was parked at Mata Prasad Jaiswal Inter College ground.

The boy got nervous and tried to run away as they neared the chopper but was consoled by Rahul Gandhi to sit in the chopper.

Talking about the touching incident, Mohammad Muqeem, Congress candidate from Etawah said,"Rahul always connects to the common man wherever he goes. He always says he is here not for an election but to change UP."
