Smoking: After Salman Khan, now actor Om Puri in trouble
After citing photographs, where the actor reportedly has been featured while smoking at public place, Patiala health department sent a show-cause notice to Mr Puri.
However, the principal of Patel Memorial International College, Mr Sanjiv Kalia overruled the statement saying that Mr Puri did not somke at public place. Similar statement came from Mr Puri's relatives who were contacted by the health department after failing to meet the actor in the hotel where Mr Puri boarded on Friday, Feb 3.
Meanwhile, the officials of Patiala Health Department informed that they will issue the show-cause notice to Mr Puri through the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai.
Mr Puri reached Rajpura to attend an ongoing fim festival in the above mentioned college. He reportedly returned to Mumabi on Saturday, Feb 4.
Here it can be recalled that while shooting for his film Bodyguard in Punjab, Salman Khan earlier was penalised by the local administration for smoking in public place at a hotel.
