SC order on 2G Spectrum case final: Pranab Mukherjee

Kolkata, Feb 3: Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said here tonight that the Supreme Court's order in the 2G Spectrum case was final and no appeal could be made against it.

"It is the apex court's order and no appeal can be made against it. We have to study different implications of the Supreme Court's judgement," Mukherjee told reporters at his south Kolkata residence shortly after arrival from New Delhi.

Asked if any effort was being made to corner the central government on this issue, Mukherjee said "in a democracy, political parties will try to use this judgement to corner their opponent (government). This is natural."
